Pre-Event Transport Guide – Wales vs England U19s Match

Limited On-Site Parking Available

We are expecting a sell-out crowd, and to ensure smooth access to the stadium, please review the transport options below:

Public Transport is Encouraged

Train: Bangor Train Station is 1.3 miles from the stadium (approximately a 25-minute walk). Taxis are available at the station. 

Bus: Local bus services will be running on their usual routes. Please check Traveline Cymru for schedules. 

Walking & Cycling: If you live locally, we encourage walking or cycling to reduce congestion.

Bangor University (Old Normal Site) Car Park – Primary parking area

Friars School - Lon Y Bryn, Bangor LL57 2LN

Park & Ride Options

To reduce traffic congestion, we have designated off-site car parking with a shuttle bus service:

Deiniol Centre Public Car Park  – Additional parking with shuttle bus service

Shuttle Bus pick up - Deiniol Centre Tan-Y-Fynwent Garth Rd, Bangor LL57 1NW

Shuttle Bus Service:

• Runs every 15 minutes (or when full) from 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM

• Pickup/drop-off points will be clearly marked with stewards to assist you

• Final return service leaves 30 minutes after the match ends

Road & Parking Restrictions

To keep traffic flowing and protect local residents, the following measures will be in place: 

• No parking on roads around the stadium – Bollards and cones will be deployed 

• Directional signage & advance notices will guide attendees to available parking areas 

• Drop-off/Pick-up Zone – Located near the stadium entrance for taxis and private vehicles

• Follow signage and steward directions for a smooth experience.
