Bangor City Stadium to stage UEFA U19 EURO Elite Round opener between Cymru U19s and England U19s

We are delighted to announce that

Bangor City Stadium will host Cymru’s opening UEFA U19 EURO Elite Round fixture against England.

Being one of three stadiums across North Wales selected as hosts is a great honour for both Bangor City Stadium and the surrounding community.

Taking place on Wednesday, March 19th with a 7pm kick off, it is set to be an evening of once-in-a-lifetime memories for all involved.

Cymru U19 Head Coach Chris Gunter said “It’s going to be a great experience for our players to be playing at this stage in the elite rounds. They deserve this opportunity from the results in November and to play in front of our own fans. We have an exciting group of players involved that have the aim to represent our National Team in years to come, and I’m excited to see the fans in North Wales come out in their numbers and support us.”

Alongside the Cymru and England U19 sides, we will be welcoming S4C and Sgorio to the stadium, who will be filming and broadcasting the fixture live.
